Day 7: Pottery
  Get
ready for another messy day! Breakfast at your accommodations and then
to work at the pottery cooperative for another intensive hands-on day.
You'll follow the entire process of Moroccan pottery from simple clay to
finished mosaic. Starting the process with softening and working the
clay for tiles and for the potters wheel. Then to the wheel for a crash
course on the art of the tangine pot. |
  Next
you'll paint the intricate traditional designs before putting the pots into the
kiln and feeding the fire. Finally sit besides artisans and hand chip
the tiles before laying them into the mosaics.
